2030 Fish Camp

Over Memorial Day weekend, incoming freshmen gathered at Forest Glen Camp for an engaging and memorable experience designed to prepare them for success at The Academy of Science and Technology. Students from several different junior high schools bonded through a variety of exciting activities, including archery, ziplining, swimming, canoeing, and rock wall climbing, all of which encouraged teamwork, responsibility, integrity and perseverance...the four pillars of AST. Beyond recreation, the camp also focused on helping students transition into 9th grade by building relationships, fostering a sense of belonging, and introducing the expectations of Academy life. By the end of the weekend, what began as a group of individuals from different schools had grown into a cohesive freshman class, ready to begin their journey together.
